Why Choose Us For Your Powerboat Level 2 Course?
The powerboat level 2 certificate awarded at the end of the course is valid for inland waters, inshore and coastal waters and the sea
For the powerboat level 2 training course we prefer a maximum of only 2 students per instructor where possible. This allows each student on the powerboat level 2 course more time behind the wheel. But if you have a group of three persons wanting to do the course together we can accomodate that with 3 persons per boat per instructor
A common complaint is that training centres cancel courses due to insufficient numbers of students on the powerboat level 2 course. We NEVER cancel courses for this reason and are quite happy to take out individual students
Aim of National Powerboat Scheme Level 2 Course
The aim of the Level 2 powerboat course is to provide training and develop skills in powerboats to enable the user to undertake daytime passages in inland and coastal tidal waters.
The level 2 powerboat course may be conducted in a variety of boat types, both planing and displacement and the certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type(s) of boat in which the training took place.
We can supply own boat tuition
Direct Assessment on the Powerboat Level 2 Course.
For more seasoned and experienced powerboaters, a direct assessment can be given. This usually takes 4-5 hours. It includes a theory test and a boat handing test on the water and on successful completion a certificate will be issued
International Certificate Of Competence
Your powerboat Level 2 course certificate can be converted to an ICC by submitting a form with a passport photograph to the RYA in Southampton. This is valid in most countries throughout the world.
