We provide the one day RYA first Aid course from our base near Glasgow city centre. The RYA first aid course it is a must for anyone going out on the water. It is also needed to keep instructors qualifications valid and Commercial licenses up to date. The First Aid certificates are valid for 3 years. They are valid for vessels up to 3000 tons. Please contact us for your first aid course requirements.

Why Choose Us Over Other RYA Training Centres?

  • On our RYA first aid courses we run small classes of students per instructor, this enables us to give you lots of individual attention to assist you through the course with plenty of space to work.
  • We never cancel courses due to not having minimum numbers. In fact we are more than happy to complete a course with 1 student in attendance.
  • Our instructors are all full time RYA instructors who are not distracted by having other professions. Our premises are staffed full time literally every day of the year! We welcome you to pop in for a chat about your first aid requirements
  • Our instructors are also the most experienced RYA instructors on the upper Clyde
  • Our marine training courses are delivered from Scotlands most unique training facilities. Our classrooms are afloat in the harbour. You literally step outside and the boats are right there in front of you. You get a really good maritime experience coming to us.
  • Our shorebased courses are delivered from our modern comfortable base at the new Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde.
