RYA Sea Survival Course

If you are looking for a Sea Survival Course in Scotland then The Sea Survival course we offer from our base in Glasgow is one of the most practical and enjoyable.

Date Of The Next Sea Survival courses.

Tuesday 1st October 2019.

Please note that the sea survival course is the RYA sea survival course and is valid on vessels up to 3000tons.

Certainly there is a serious side to learning how to use a liferaft and all the equipment and electronic search and rescue equipment involved on the sea survival course but the pool session is the best part of the course, practical but enjoyable to say the least.

No one ever wants to end up in the sea after the loss of their vessel and survival is often dependent on a combination of common sense, the determination to survive and the practical application of skills learned on the RYA Sea Survival course.

We can also run the Sea Survival Course to order if we can make up a small group, please call or email for details

Cost 120 which includes course notes book and certificate. The course is being held in Glasgow

Important Information

Please note that we need a minimum number of 3 students to run this course this is due to the fact that candidates are required to interact with other people in a liferaft, performing simulations of rescuing injured persons from the water etc. If we are unable to achieve the required minimum number we reserve the right to cancel the course even at short notice on the day of the course. It would be extremely rare to have to do this and it would usually be caused by students cancelling at the last minute or an issue with the swimming pool. We are not liable for any costs you may incur such as accommodation, travel, babysitting, pet watching or any other costs if we are forced to cancel the course
